This put K2 up against Rumble-Bee winner Snappy in its next fight. K2 then pushed Rev 2 into the pit, granting it a second chance. After K2 got its bearings, it worked on pushing Rev 2 into the pit. After that, K2 then corralled SCD into the pit which eliminated it. K2 then opened the pit while Rev 2 and SCD were dueling. Rev 2 then got a lucky shot on K2 which disabled their weapon. The fight began with everyone spinning up. This put K2 through to the Losers' Melee, where it fought Rev 2 and SCD. Eventually, Captain Doom used K2's own weapon power against it and threw it out of the arena. Captain Doom then went on the offensive and constantly slammed K2 into the walls and flipped itself once and righted K2. Captain Doom then got K2 near the pit activation button.
Captain Doom then slammed K2 into the walls. After a few tries, Captain Doom flipped K2 with a single head on slam into the weapon. The fight began with a box rush from Captain Doom (like always) and barely missing. In the first round of the final, K2 faced Captain Doom. The fight went to a judges decision where K2 won becasue of all the damage inflicted on Saw Loser, putting K2 through to the Grand Final. Saw Loser then started to gain footing and push K2 around the arena for the rest of the fight. K2 was then all over Saw Loser and didn't let Saw Loser catch a break. The pit was then opened when K2 backed into the pit release. K2 then flipped Saw Loser again and Saw Loser then self righted again. The two then grinded weapons and Saw Loser flipped itself after breaking away. The fight started with K2 flipping Saw Loser who then self righted. Anxt was counted out and K2 progressed to the heat final.
K2 then managed to knock out Anxt's removable link which turned it off. K2 then flipped Anxt who then self righted, but K2 didn't let it go and popped Anxt up again. K2 then started grinding at the wedge and took off one of the wedgelets.
Pinwheel then mysteriously died as a result. K2 then drove Pinwheel into the wall, making it bounce on its blade in the process. K2 then popped Pinwheel up a little, but no major damage yet. The fight started with both bots being a little tentative. The robot utilises commercially-available weapon hardware commonly used in the US Beetleweight class, and is designed to balance weapon power with drive power - often intentionally stopping its weapon during fights to better utilise its grip and maneuverability. K2 is a compact, 4WD vertical spinner armed with a large 'egg-beater', entered by Team Kamikaze.
